Today's Recipe: Leche Flan

Kung nag-iisip kayo ng gagawin sa Feb. 14, why not bake this one for your loveones? Sigurado you'll get a hug or maybe even get a kiss pag natikman nila ito

Kaya ako bake lang ng bake, deadma muna sa diet (kung meron man) kasi naniniwala ako sa kasabihan -  "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach..." Kaya si hubby, happy tummy tas ako happy hearty! LOL

See that creamy, soft and yummy leche flan... so inviting diba?

Ingredients:

Sugar
Water

6 whole eggs
300 ml condensed milk
300 ml evaporated milk
half a cup of white sugar
vanilla extract

How to:

Step One:
How to prepare the caramelized syrup:
In a pan, dissolve the sugar in medium heat, add the water. Do not stir, just gently swirl the pan and allow it to caramelized in low heat. To achieved that sweeter syrup, prevent the sugar from getting burn. Have a pale brown caramel. Too dark signifies that your sugar will tastes bitter instead of sweet. If syrup is set, pour it in the custard moulders or cups. Assure that you evenly coat the lyanera or custard cups with syrup.

Step Two:

How to make the leche flan:

1. In a mixing bowl, blend the ingredients (eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract) thoroughly but do not overmix.
2. Pour the mixture into the form.
3. Steam for 30 mins in a low heat.

* To test if the leche flan is done, insert a toothpick. If it comes out clean, then it is already cooked. Let it cool at a room temperature.

* After cooling, refrigerate it or you can just do like this! ;P

* To serve, just invert it and gently dislodge the flan into the plate so the syrup is on top!

* Serve, share and enjoy!

    1. Go try this, this is the easiest one. You can use dark or light syrup instead of caramelized sugar, so to make this extra easy and fast!

  9. nice try Gracie dear, sarap ng flan! na-try ko na rin gumawa ng leche flan, first try perfect. nag-try ako ulit last year, nung wala pa ako work, fail...haha, kung kelan second time saka fail. malilit kase un egg na nabili ko kaya medyo soft un flan, kaya pag nag-post din ako ng recipe nito, lagyan ko talaga ng size ng egg, un may eksaktong measurement, para swak un timpla, di malambot, di rin naman matigas na pwedeng pambato ng kapitbahay. hehe...
