Feel Good Movies
With the kind of technology we have these days, watching our favorite films or movies are just easy as clicking the on/off button. If you're lucky enough, you got a smartphone, a wi-fi internet connection and a movie app, then you're cool. Congratulations!
But I hate it. That makes one a cool fake lazy pig. Sorry for the term (I don't know where it came from actually). I prefer and rather pay for the price just to get out and have a life, enjoy and have fun with friends and loveones, or just anyone I can tag along with. I'm not choosy to the extent that you can let me watch even the movies made during the 70's or 80's on the big screen (as long as you're the one paying for my ticket. Just kidding).
When I was still living in Oslo around 2007-2008, me and a close friend of mine used to hit the big screen several times a month whenever new interesting movies were shown. Each ticket worth 800 Php that time. It costed a lot that's why we couldn't afford doing some restaurant hopping there. Our movie addiction was our way to relax and get away a little bit from our messy and stressful jobs. One of the countless movies we had seen together was "The Bourne Identity".
2 years ago when I was taking up the norwegian language course, our group was able to watch "Slumdog Millionaire".
While I was on a vacation in Philippines, me and my bestfriend were present at the cinema when the movie "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" was released.
Now it has been months since the last time I visited the big screen. I miss going to the movies!
After watching the trailer, I got the urge to watch this movie, "The Avengers". And I wonder who wants to go with me? My treat - popcorn ;P
Hope you have a nice day!
